Facilitated — for the Talent Management Team of a start-up global school network — the TM team’s planning process, which resulted in defining the team’s comprehensive structure, overall values and goals, annual deliverables, and team member responsibilities.
Collaborated with not-for-profit, university, legislative, and school and district representatives to adopt practices and policies that enabled implementation of changes in college readiness and access routes, high school standards, curriculum, instruction, and credentials in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, and New York.
Created policies to transition a major urban school district’s elementary assignment system from a neighborhood-based assignment process to a three-zone public school choice process; the redesign of middle level education efforts, which resulted in the transition from a K-5, 6-8, 9-12 system to one comprised of K-6 and 7-12 sites; and the transition of two large high schools to multiplex sites with four small autonomous schools each.
